General Information
Healthcare services are a rapidly growing service sector that is directly related to the health of both individuals and society, and has the greatest impact on the development of our country along with economic indicators. While the health services sector is growing, it is also undergoing a very rapid change. Especially in recent years, factors such as technological developments, increased communication and transportation opportunities, and ease of access to information have rapidly changed the expectations from health services. Both the changing expectations of patients and the necessity of managing health institutions with a modern business management approach necessitate that the human resources to be employed in health institutions should have high qualifications. On the other hand, the rapid increase in the number of health institutions belonging to both public and private sectors makes it necessary to increase the quantity of human resources to be employed in these institutions. In this direction, the health institutions management program trains qualified intermediate staff needed in the health sector.
